Home > Full program > Climate & War - Generate greater wealth through an economy based on climate rather than war
Introduction
If it is possible to generate large amounts of money by starting wars and selling weapons, it is possible to generate more by developing an economy based on resilience and adaptation to the way the planet works. This approach would also be part of a desire to reduce global warming and develop ecology.
The program
Develop your projects, create your business...
The GENEVA FORUM invites you to propose your solutions in this field.
Indeed, this idea is based on a rather old and widely documented reflection by economists: a general mobilization, whether decreed or spontaneous, would generate more money and wealth if it were based on climate and not wars.
Thus, it is in our interest to put an end to wars and to invest people’s energy on this other theme of activity. It’s about creating an interest for decision-makers to move towards climate management technologies, and thus migrate the assets of these influential people. These technologies can be :
- Carbon offsetting ;
- The regreening of deserts;
- The regreening of cities;
- Energy transition;
- And many more...
This phenomenon of migration of assets and shifting interests can already begin to be observed and needs to be amplified. In this vein, we are looking for people who have proposals for economic systems to make to governments, where this kind of mechanism and themes would be at the center of the approach, thus enabling us to attract economic actors and open public worksites.
Suggest a solution !
If you wish, you can present, alone or with others, your proposals to the UN and you will be accompanied in the creation and development of activities based on these proposals.
Come with your ideas, prepare yourself, and participate actively in the workshops of the GENEVA FORUM. Meet your future teammates and get ready to actively change the world! |
