This foundation aims to expand the Fab Labs ‘international network, as well as regional organizations (primarily associations, schools, and community organizations). Its mission is to promote creativity and innovation, by providing access to financial resources, tools, and knowledge to make technology available to all, and thereby allowing the whole world to create opportunities to improve their livelihoods.
- Fabfoundation is an official partner of the GENEVA FORUM’s Annual International Conference on Citizen Science
- Each year, during the GENEVA FORUM, the foundation hosts a workshop on skill sharing within Fab Lab around the issue of project support for sustainable development projects.
- Each year, in conjunction with the GENEVA FORUM, it organizes a workshop, focusing on the creation of monitoring tools, to study how Fab Labs can support sustainable development projects and evaluate their impact on their objectives.
- The Fabfoundation attracts a large number of Fab Labs from around the world for the GENEVA FORUM.
